  1. Kugai Says:

    Eyeball hell

Rip the fuckers throat out with your teeth Hammer

    Asshole.

  2. Jamie Jeans Says:

    Oh joy.

    Rape.

Yeah, I knew things would get back but… sorry, I’m out. I’ll check back in a few months to see how things are.

  3. hansagan Says:

Aw, at least come back next week…it may turn out differently to what you’re expecting.

  4. Scorps Says:

I’m with Kugai on this.Of course, going quite a bit lower may work too.Though I could go with hansagan on this, for all we know it’s a humiliating hostage pic to come.

  5. Chris and Lara Says:

Pretend you like what he is doing (Lara says), then TURN THE TABLES! Make him Suffer! Hahaha

Chris says “I don’t like the little shit’

  6. toaster Says:

also with kugai on the throat ripping. rip. rip. rip.

  7. seanmm Says:

I have a feeling that this may be more than a probable rape scenerio. Don’t forget that this guy is pretty smart also if this dos come down to rape yes by all means KILL HIM.

  8. Crazeyal Says:

    Rape?

Not going to happen. It’s a possibility.. The writing is better than to just launch into that sort of situation. They consider her a child killer. If there were more scientific instruments, or medical personnel? Perhaps.. Methinks the surprises are just starting.

  9. Officer Charon Says:

I just like the fact that even though she’s been through hell already, even though she’s offered up a hand to this prick already, Hammer has the chutzpah to want to make the bugger suffer. More power to you!

  10. Kugai Says:

I’ve gotten to hate this guy on principle

He’s the other sides version of Toat as far as I’m concerned and the sooner both he and her are removed from the gene pool, the better.

  11. Snowfire Says:

    Hmmmm interesting.

I think everyone but Craezyal has this wrong. This doesn’t look like a rape scene. Oh no, not at all. He’s too smart for that. He probably knows that the Outcast is looking for him. He also probably knows that they all now know the truth. It’s is VERY possible that either they’ve finally found him or he’s finally found them. And now he’s going to tell Hammer the truth and if she doesn’t believe him he puts on her captain.

In regards to evil, he’s actually not that bad. Sure, he sends children out to die, but in this universe, who DOESN’T? Both sides are equally grey here, with his actually verging on the brighter (the way they’re framing things, just about everything they’ve done has been completely justified. Yes, you heard me. Completely. Justified.

Sure, he’s picked up some power on the way, but considering the cultural implications of the male gender within this universe that’s expected. He’s trying to find a way to end this, Forseti showed that and the crew of that ship were VOLUNTEERS! You trace this back, Earth is at fault for everything that’s happened so far and he knows this as well as ONI does.

This future isn’t pretty, it isn’t meant to be pretty. But in a universe of grey, this guy and the people he’s managed to pull together are probably some of the brightest lights left – god help us all. The crew of the outcast are just as bad, they just hide behind regulations and duty.

This is about to take one hell of a turn though, so buckle up and hold on tight. I think we’re about to hit the afterburners mid-way through a high-g bank.

  12. Jamie Jeans Says:

… if he’s going to tell Hammer the truth, then WHY have her clothes removed? What’s the point of that?

All it does is give me bad vibes and I got enough of that BS from the Big 2 comics.

Look, I’ve been reading this comic from all the way back in 2003, when I was over in Japan and followed a link over from Neo Monster Island, and after going through so much crap with Marvel and DC I am just tired of being burned from the needless, pointless abuse of female characters to the point that I just get really on edge about this kind of thing.

  13. Loser Says:

It’s not rape. It may even turn out to be something good in fact, like he finally heard what’s going on with Hammer – I don’t think he knew about Larissa’s behaviour so far. If that’s the case he’s just checking the injuries. In a stretched out manner to create the theatrical suspense.

  14. Loser Says:

oh and btw, Hammer already knows the truth if I remember correctly… and also, I doubt the rest of the ship considers her a child killer.

  15. Snowfire Says:

Hammer knows maybe part of the truth, not the whole. But I’d agree with your first comment. First and foremost, I very much doubt this is going to be rape. It just doesn’t fit. Not the scene, nor that guy’s psych profile.

  16. Soulessdreamer Says:

Am I the only one who remembers that this guy and the chick who took hammer’s hand are at odds despite being on the same side?

Removing the clothes is a power play, I don’t think rape is on the cards at this point, the dynamics of the setup feel wrong.

He sees hammer as a game peice and is trying to gage how best to use her IMHO.

    TTFN

  17. seanmm Says:

I agree with alot of what snowfire says.

  18. Derek Says:

I’m guessing he’s worried about bugs (listening devices, not ticks) in her clothing.

And he want’s to look at her boobies.

  19. Lancelot Says:

This story definitely has an “Empire Strikes Back” feel to it, but since WHEN has our fearless writer led us astray (lol, I said ass).

I say, let’s see what happens, then we judge.
