  1. Kugai Says:

I suppose it wouldn’t have done Hammer any good to tell the woman involved she tried to save him.

  2. Kugai Says:

    No, probably not.

  3. Part 7 Comic 26 Says:

    [...] [...]

  4. RocketGirl Says:

Wow…they just Luked (or Anakined, if you prefer) Hammer…huh.

  5. Echo Says:

    Damn…

Assuming she didn’t tell the woman she tried to save the kid, I’d say it was probably for the best. She’d have probably lost another part for supposed lying.

  6. Gelyon Says:

    They mutilated her … assholes.
Ok, d’Artagnan, you do not know it, but there’s someone important to save – and a bill to meet!

  7. JamieJ Says:

    … cripes!

Dude…. god damn, okay, that’s harsh and… yeah, I’m feeling a little sick to my stomach here. I know Hammer is in a bad spot but please, no more stuff like that, alright? I’ve given up on most mainstream comics because of crap like this, and I don’t want to stop reading this series.

Just… no, I didn’t need to see this..

  8. LtColInsane Says:

    Prisoners arn’t always treated well.

  9. Kugai Says:

I think our Hammer’s tormentor is going to learn the meaning of the work Karma

    Quite quickly.

  10. iDude Says:

Ok, probably not the best strip to say this but…
    Hooked. Instantly.
I usually read the archives right after the current strip for any new comic I find…and I have to say, three strips in, and I couldn’t wait for the next page to load.
    Keep ‘em coming.

  11. seanmm Says:

Oh my that is defiantly very harsh however I agree with kugai that eventuly her tormenter and the rest of those on board the rebel ship will eventuly find out about karma. Also keep up the good work because these is a very good comic.

    Hello Peter:

I just saw your message on my Twitter feed, and this is most excellent to hear, most excellent indeed. I do apologize for the unorthodox invitation method as I had not seen a e-mail address, but now that I have one we can move forward. Right then, the specific date we are looking at is September 15, 2010 or September 16, 2010 in your case. as that is the first one that is freely available at the moment, but some other openings are still available so we can still be flexible about the specific day. Another concern to be addressed is the time differential between New Zealand and the various Time Zones of the USA, though by my estimations that regular start time of 10:00 PM EST/7:00 PM PST should land at 14:00 or 15:00 GMT+12 depending on the daylight savings time factor, in either case, it should not be that much of an issue. Hell, that is a vastly more workable time then the European guests have had. Finally, I should ask if you have any desire to bring along any of the others who work on this comic, like your colorist, along with you for this interview? Thank you for your time and I hope to hear from you soon.

    Adam Dayton

Whoah. Dude. Another punch to the gut from this comic. That’s not a complaint.

  14. Tollymain Says:

My thoughts when reading the page:

“Nice to see Hammer’s still alive, though it doesn’t look good. Hmm.. they’ve been torturing her… that’s not goo- OH HOLY HELL! WHERE’S HER HAND?!”

That being said, still glad to see an update. Keep going!

  15. Scorps Says:

I can’t believe I missed seeing her missing hand until now.*facepalm* If and when the Angels regroup to kick ass,she may need expansive cybernetic surgery. And therapy. If she survives this. And Jamie J, unfortanatly, this being a war story, you may see more of this. It’s grisly, it’s ugly, but even in the future the stories set in, it’s the still the same beast it’s always been. POW’s like her are pretty f*****.

  16. Gryphyn Says:

I’m confused, and can’t seem to find the explanation in the archives. Her son was…?
