Great way to do a recap, I love it !

Simple, straight to the point, synthetic … really well done !!!

:-) )))) really happy to read this comics again

  2. JamieJ Says:

Wow, is that Hammer? You need a haircut.

Loved the recap. It helped to clear up some stuff I’d wondered about how the virus got to Earth and Mars.

  3. PO8 Says:

Hooray! The end of the wall of text! Couldn’t be more excited to see the comic get going again.

BTW, “EMP surge knocking out Earth’s communication scrambling field”? Please get some help from a hardcore geek on the technobabble for this strip.

  4. Nexus IV Says:

I suspected most of this a while back. Good to know for sure though. Love the comic.

    @ PO8
It makes perfect sense; no techno babble needed. Set off an EMP close enough to the satellite grid and it will fry some of them. You then have a “hole” in the grid to transmit radio waves through which are received by ground stations that haven’t been damaged. A strong enough radio signal will “burn” through other signals on the ground. This is similar to hearing multiple radio stations on the same AM frequency today, but with enough power someone could override them completely. The information then goes viral via facebook… :-p

Granted, there are a lot of variables and it’s kind of a long-shot of a plan, but still workable. What I want to know is how hammer managed to survive, but I have suspicions about that one too.

Sure this is, very plausible and well grounded in known science – Electomagnetic Pulse is contemporary technology. The source of the pulse should be within 60 – 300 km of the planet to get the best effect. It causes a sudden surge of 50000 volts or more over the area of effect. That’s enough to damage exposed electrical circuits and burn off antennas from satellites.

  6. seanmm Says:

So we now know the whole plan for the arrrowway and how it links up with the rest of the story and I most say that this was one very good recap that answers alot of questions. Also now we are going to findout what happened to hammer and if she did indeed switched sides because now she knows that the terran military is responsible for causing serious damage to the human race and probbly one of the biggest warcrimes of the race as awhole. Also do you know how much the virus has spread because there mite be uncomprimised systems out there. P.S. I am a lowsly speller somtimes.

  7. DeltaEmil Says:

Who says that the colonials are telling the truth? They could all just lie and have fabricated their so-called “evidence” about the terran’s fault in the great plague. Even “authentic” data can be forged by skilled people and made look believable. And there are surely enough conspiracy theorists (male and female) on Earth who believed this anyway. Why would the words of rebels and terrorists be worth anything? For all we know, people on Earth do think that the plague was caused by the rebel colonies.
There has to be more than just getting an overglorified conspiracy e-mail (which might be all true) through the grid. Nobody in the colonies could possibly believe that this alone would work so easily and make the women overthrow the terran government.

Of course, perhaps all the captors of Hammer just told her lies, and the true Forsetti-information is about something totally else (like information about aliens and other paranormal phenomena).
