Failsafe device ? Why I’m thinking here about… uuuuuh… Android, what was his name ? Nevermind that.
Not that I’m an expert in drawing (i don’t have any skill at all) but Toad is looking like child in the first panel for me. Maybe it’s those implants “cutting” off all features of her being a woman and overall perspective but I just have that feeling. Good page. Can’t wait for more.

Didn’t I say they should remove her cybernetics? I think I said something to that effect. Anyway, now the ship is gonna blow up. Hell of a way to end the story

And it looks like Bubblegum’s bubble just got popped, and she comes crashing back to Earth.
Interesting to note how the Captain phrased that bit about Loser’s demise. Is, she trying to cheer up Whiskey? That it wasn’t her fault after all..
Making her focus her rage on Toad and Kiseko instead.
Anyway, they should’ve tossed Toad out of an airlock when they had the chance. Folks like her always cause complications, and that’s nothing but bad, when you’re in the midst of a shooting zone.

Captain Rob may seem a bit vindictive here, but the fact that she is being severe toward Bubblegum is probably a good thing. Were she to consider Bubblegum a writeoff to be executed or shipped to the nearest penal colony, I doubt she would bother to chew (no pun intended) Bubblegum out.
