The best way to avoid a court martial is valour. Looks like Whiskey gets to come out of the brig.

That and I don’t think there’s a punishment worse than “You killed the only woman you’ve ever loved by being stupid”. I doubt she’ll get out of this with out some serious marks, positive and negative, in her record though.

To sum things up (say if I’m wrong somewhere):
Kid - still heartbroken after loss of Hammer, made attempt to save Whiskey (in weird manner).
Hammer - still dead but we all can be wrong *insert random character reviving plot device here (I have myself a nutty idea, that Hammer might be among “rebel” pilots that will get captured in this story arc)*
Bubblegum - she has “grown some balls” (no offence here) and has proven herself in combat, yet she is about to face consequences of betraying captain Kurosawa
Looser - propably killed but not yet confirmed. If not she might be pissed off a bit at Whiskey for almost not killing her and then ejecting after Kid’s “proposal”
Quetz - Nothing special here. Most mentally stable character at the moment ?
Whiskey - sha has: esceaped from custody. hijacked fighter, accidentially killed loved one(yet to be confirmed), went berserk, almost commited suicide, saved herself in last time (seriously, who could have seen that one coming), and is yet to face all that shit that have summed up from the beginning.
So as I have written: don’t forget that Kiseko is also into serious shit after she is back on ship.

Yeah it seems like a great big mess indeed. But the Whiskey thing. I think we may indeed be seeing Hammer and Loser return. I mean, if we don’t, what was the point of Whiskey’s survival really?
*fingers crossed for happy ending*
As for hammer, I think your theory might have some merit, though I’d put her in the enemy ship’s brig rather then among their pilots.

I have to agree with Taz, if Hammer is alive, and I seriously doubt she is(See previous post), I can’t imagine her flying a Cessna against her friends, let alone a fighter.
