I’ve put a few new pieces on the Art site, as well as adding a link in the main header (And a link to Mitsabi’s Dream). Some of these pieces start from $10, so hopefully they’re a little more affordable than some of the other pieces on there.
Also, please take note of the Paypal donation button to the right there…if anyone has a little cybercash burning a hole in their cyberpocket and wants to support the comic, this is the way. Cheers.
I’ve put a few pieces up for sale at the following link. Various prices depending on the complexity of the pieces, and I may put up some more if they prove popular.
A quick question….would you fine folk out there be at all interested in purchasing original Angels artwork (i.e the B/W pencil art actually used in the comic) for a fair price? Because, as you can imagine, I have reams of drawings taking up space in my house, going all the way back to 2002.
Let me know what you think in the comments below, and depending on the level of interest, I may run some Ebay auctions.
A while ago Kyle Newmaster, a highly talented composer based in LA, provided the music for Mitsabi’s Dream, which enhanced the look and feel of the movie to a huge degree. Recently I listened to a piece of Kyles music called ‘Soaring’, which he composed a few years ago as a portfolio piece and I was taken by how beautiful it was, and especially how well it suited one of the comics lead characters, namely Franchesca Martines, or Kid. Kid loves to fly, and the whole piece brings to mind gliding gracefully over the green hills of France, or even though space.
I got in touch with Kyle, and he has very kindly agreed to officially allow ‘Soaring’ to become ‘Kids Theme’, which I think is one of the coolest things ever. Have a listen, and I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
And don’t forget to visit Kyles site, for more audio goodness, and thanks again Kyle for a very special gift
